Show Utah swimmers trounce Arizona 4 The Ute swimming team, rounding into top form in preparation ' for the Western Athletic Conference championships two weeks hence in Salt Lake, soundly defeated the University of Arizona swimmers 86-18 in a dual meet Friday night. The Utes placed first in all 12 events as they thoroughly dominated the meet. Ken Shrewsbury picked up a first place in the 100-yard freestyle and was also a member of both winning relay teams. The times were not outstanding as the Arizona swimmers failed to push the Utes to their best performances. The only remaining dual meet for Utah is scheduled for Thursday Thurs-day night in Provo with BYU, who, along with Colorado State, is expected ex-pected to give Utah a battle for the WAC title. |
