The piece that Caravaglia will be doing is "Icraus," cast in bronze. The piece is done in free flowing form and represents man in his search for the unknown. The theme of all the pieces centers around the search for knowledge concept, associated with the educational process and the library. (Continued from Page 3) suspended form. He was a professor of sculpture at the University for 17 years. A statue of Lincoln in his young twenties, with books in one hand and an axe in the other, has been selected from Fairbanks' past works. |
