Show Symphony To Feature Rubinstein In what will perhaps be the most thrilling concert of the season, sea-son, Maestro Maurice Abravanel and the Utah Symphony will join together with the talents of Ar-tur Ar-tur Rubinstein to present the 11th subscription concert of the Utah Symphony Orchestra tomorrow. to-morrow. The concert will begin at 8:30 p.m. in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. The Orchestra will perform works by two all-time favorite composers: Bach and Mozart. "The Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in the key of G" will open the program. The Orchestra will also play Mozart's "Symphony No. 39 in E Flat Major." Recently having celebrated his 80th birthday, the world's greatest great-est pianist, Artur Rubinstein, will join the Orchestra and perform per-form Brahms' "Piano Concerto No. 1 in D Minor." |
