Show Utah Gals Win Inter-Col Meet; Harrison, Wallis k The University Women's Ski Team tied the University of Colorado in the Intercollegiate Meet held at Winter Park, Colo., March 3-4. Seventy-five gals, representing nine schools participated par-ticipated in the meet. Claire Harrison won the Class A Slalom event with a time of 81.7 seconds. Pam Wallis was second with 82.8. In the A Giant Slalom, Miss Wallis was in 1st place with a time of 1:38.5. Jane Smith ran the course in 1:40.5 for 3rd and Claire Harrison was 4th with 1:41.8. MOST outstanding racer on the B team was JoAnne Johnson who placed 5th in the slalom and 6th in the giant slalom. Colleen Col-leen Hammond placed 10th in the slalom and 13th in the giant slalom. Participants of the B team were JoAnne Johnson from Iron Mountain, Mich.; Colleen Hammond, Ham-mond, 2nd year ski team member mem-ber from Vernal, Utah; Anne Bailey, 4th year team member and team captain; Lindy Hess from Monticello, Utah; and Linda Ferre of Salt Lake. THE WOMEN'S Intercollegiate Intercollegi-ate Ski Team is organized through the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Alice Shoman is faculty fa-culty advisor.
