Show IMs Closing To Tight Finish ning this event. While at the same time, it looks as though Beta Theta Pi's number one soft-ball soft-ball team will take first place in the sport. And in horseshoes, the Pi Kaps hold a dominate lead in the sport. As closely as it can be figured, there shouldn't be more than 40 points separating the three teams at the beginning of the track tournament. ALL ENTRIES for the track event will be due by next Monday Mon-day and the play will begin on the following Tuesday. Some of the rules include that no contestant con-testant shall enter more than three of the events and points in all events shall be awarded as follows: 8-5-3-2-1. The events will be broad jump, high jump, shot put, 100 yard dash, 200 yard dash, 120 yard low hurdles, 440 yard run, 400 yard shuttle relay and 880 yard run. There will be no limit on the entries and all participants must be eligible according to rules contained in the IM handbook. The closest contest in many years is now coming to the finish fin-ish line in intramurals for the all-year event. With the final tabulation of points in swimming swim-ming and golf, three fraternities now stand within a little more than 100 points of each other. BETA THETA PI still holds a prominent lead with 1133 points. They are followed by Pi Kappa Alpha, at 1037, and in third place is Sigma Chi at 1019. But four events are still undecided un-decided as far as winning team. Those four are tennis, softball, horseshoes and track. And the way it looks now, the outcome will be known when the last event, intramurals track, is finished. fin-ished.
