Show Song Fest Competition Ends U. Days Events ors at Song Fest. The dance on Saturday completed the week's happenings. Because of weather, the May 5 U whitewashing and bicycle race were postponed until this coming Thursday at noon. Interested In-terested parties are to meet in the Union foyer at noon to leave for the mountainside U. A $15 prize will be given to the person sporting the grubbiest attire. at-tire. Following the whitewashing, a bicycle race will be run before refreshment time in the Union Building. Refreshments will be served to all who participated in .he day's events. Announcement of Song Fest winners at Saturday night's dance climaxed this year's flurry of U Days events. Winners in the men's division were: Serious Delta Phi Kappa for a song entitled "Discovery;" Novelty-Pi Novelty-Pi Kappa Alpha for "Satire on Middle Aged Woman Going Through Rush." The women's division was dominated by Lambda Delta Sigma, Kappa chapter, for "The Keed" in the serious category and Delta Gamma Gam-ma for "Officer Farnsworth" in the novelty division. THE DANCE, which was held in the Union Ballroom at 3:30 pjn.. also featured a 25 minute cf candid campus me. Those who saw the film termed it "hilarious." The U Days committee, com-mittee, headed by Margo Taylor, explained that the committee is now making arrangements to present the movie again so that more students will have an opportunity op-portunity to see it. .intermission was sparked by the presentation of the U Days royalty, Bonnie Vernon, and her attendants Ann Dalrymple and Lynne Jenkins.
