The Redskin track team will have their day of reckoning Saturday Sat-urday as they journey to Provo to participate in a three-way meet with powerful Brigham Young and more powerful New Mexico. The meet is being branded as one of the outstanding outstand-ing track events of the season. With the Western Athletic Conference being stamped as one of the nation's top track and field conferences and with BYU and New Mexico at present pre-sent rated as the two top teams of the conference and the Utes surprisingly strong, this could turn out to be the meet of all meets. With such keen competition, the Redskins aie dubbed an outside favorite to be mostly nuisance resistance to the Cougars and Lobos as the two squads wallow in depth in every eve-ry event. The best bets for Redskin finishers fin-ishers are javelin aces Krege Christensen and Craig Smith, sprinter Daily Oliver, high jumper jum-per Bill DeVries and pole vault-ers vault-ers Jim Chamberlain and Ray Reeves.
