SINCE I JOINED the faculty of Dixie College in 'St. George, I have become aware of several of the junior college characteristics character-istics which you mentioned. In your editorial analysis, however, how-ever, I believe you made several sev-eral false generalizations and seriously distorted the image of today's modern junior college col-lege in the following respects: 1. Not all junior colleges are "popping up in abondaned factories, run-down resorts, and old air force bases." New modern buildings on some of the most beautiful campuses you can find now house many junior colleges across the nation. nat-ion.
