Show . ' Pag 3 Committee Schedules Eyents For U Days Spectaculal A dance with a different flavor fla-vor is being advertised by the U Days Committee. Because Peter, Paul and Mary are being brought in to perform in concert for U Days on May 6, the dance will forgo the usual big name talent Instead the intermission in-termission entertainment will be a motion picture of University life. Mike Romney's Combo will play for the event May 9, and the dress b Sunday best. Sunday best clothes won't be in style May 7, however, when students head up the hill for the annual U Days white wash. Drs. William Fowler and Paul Ban-ham Ban-ham of the department of Mu sic will head two team in the messy job. A $15 prize will be awarded to the grubbiest student. stu-dent. MAY 8 Richard L Evans will M.C. the musical presentations ; of Greeks and religious groups i for the tradition songfest. Sing- ! ing will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the stadium if the weather is fair, or in the fieldhouse if the weather weath-er is foul. Reigning over all events will be a U Days Queen and her two attendants who will be chosen in a Miss America type pageant Monday at 8:30 p.m. in the Union Un-ion Ballroom. The U Days Queen will represent the University in the Miss America Pageant this summer. |
