A tentative proposal to increase tuition bv S2 per quarter was rejected. To balance out the needs budget! the regents voted vot-ed to increase the parking fee from the already proposed $3 fee THE REVENUE from the increase, which will apply to tu-dents, tu-dents, faculty and employees, will be used to improve control and maintenance of existing parking lots and to provide part of the money for the construction of new lots. The Regents met to present the budget for the 1964-65 school year. A general administration admin-istration budget of $13,332,500 was adopted to accomodate an anticipated enrollment increase for the next fall quarter of 1,000 students. The new budget represents an increase of 9.1 per cent over the $12,219,000 general administration budget for the current year. MOST OF THE increase arises from the Utah State Training Hospital which will be located in one wing of the new medical center. Ralph Nielsen, a member of the Traffic Planning Committee, explained, "Students should be willing to pay for parking if they want it."
