Lowell Lees has been named nam-ed a member of the national Shakespeare Shake-speare Anniversary Committee; a Salt Lake City tuberculosis study by Dr. William M. McPhee has been announced; and participants in this year's School of Alcohol Studies have been named over the weekend. week-end. DR LEES, head of the department of theatre and ballet, will serve on the anniversary committee which was first proposed by the late Pres. John F. Kennedy. Mrs. Kennedy is now serving as honorary chairman. chair-man. Pres. Lyndon B. Johnson has approved ap-proved the committee to lead the United State's official celebration of the 400th anniversary of the birth of William Shakespeare, this year. The local tuberculosis study will be a socio-cultuial survey of residents resi-dents of the downtown area. Dr. McPhee, professor of social work and director of research at the Gaduate School of Social Work, will co-direct the study, along with Dr. Jennings G. Olson, professor and head of the department of phi-losopy phi-losopy and anthropology, Weber College.
