Show Utes Innocent In 'Fishy' Deal LAST MONTH, after every fish in the Union fountain quietly rolled over on its back and died, accusations accusa-tions of "Poison" and "Vandalism" were hurled at the student body. But Verne J. Keener, Union supervisor, su-pervisor, said Sunday, that the real culprit has been found. HEAVILY chlorinated water was accidentally diverted from Fort Douglas into the pond. Chlorine is fatal to fish. Mr. Keener said that about 40 new goldfish, $20 worth have been placed in the water. Hopefully these will survive the chlorination, prern dye and soap bubbles that have plagued their predecessors. |
