Show Claude W. Davidson Funeral services for Claude W. Davidson, retired railroad agent - telegrapher, were held Monday of last week in the Lincoln County Mortuary at Caliente, under direction of the Caliente Masonic Lodge. Mr. Davidson died at his home in Caliente after a brief illness. He had lived at Milford, Mil-ford, where he was Union Pacific Pa-cific agent and telegrapher, for many years before moving to Caliente in June, 1946. He retired re-tired from active duty in October, Octo-ber, 1955. Mr. Davidson was born July 30, 1890, in Denton, Texas. He married Faye B. Pruet, July 13, 1912.- He was a member of Albert Pike Lodge No- 14, Milford, Free and Accepted Mason of Utah, and of Lincoln County Post. No. 23, American Legion. He also belonged to El Kalah Shrine, in Salt Lake City. Surviving are his widow; sisters, Mrs. Irene Minton, Denton, Den-ton, Texas; Mrs. Jessie Smith, Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Billie i Roper, Fort Worth, Texas. Burial was in the Veterans section of the Caliente City Cemetery, with the complete Masonic service, after which military honors were rendered by Lincoln County Post. No 23, American Legion. Pallbearers, all Masons, were Frank Davis, Caliente; Joseph R. Murdock, Charles Moore, Jack Bardsley anud Jack Morrison, Mor-rison, Milford. Attending the services 'from Milford, in addition to the pallbearers, pall-bearers, were Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Wunderlich, Mrs. Warren Fernley, Mrs- Maurice Johnson, and L. A. Wynaught. |
