Show COMIC BAND TO PLAY FOR FREE FRIDAY NIGHT FORTY-NINER DANCE I ENTRIES MOUNT IN QUEEN CONTEST; KID SECTION ADDED TO PARADE; ALL GROUPS INVITED TO COMPETE FOR PARADE TROPHIES All girls who wish to enter the queen contest (ages 16 to 22) who are not sponsored by a civic or other local organization, organiza-tion, will be sponsored by the Legion Auxiliary, according to Mrs. Ida Smith, president. The Queen of the Forty-Niners will be selected on Forty-Niner Forty-Niner Day, Saturday, May 26th, from a large group of contestants contest-ants nominated by various civic and social groups of Milford. Dan Valentine of the Salt Lake Tribune, Ted Cannon of the Desert News, and Dave Morris, Mor-ris, queen contest chairman, will be the judges, and judging will be on points based on pulchritude, beauty, poise, and personality. Judging will be at 11 a. m. Saturday ,and the queen and her attendants will be crowned at the fairgrounds during the race meet. A beautiful cup will be presented to each of the winners, and all queen contestants contest-ants will have special vehicles for the Forty-Niner Parade. Highlighting the Saturday race and gymkhana program will be the challenge Mayor's Horse Race, and Gov. J.
