Show OUT GARRISON WAY By Mrs. Edilh Rowley We think Garrison is the coldest spot in the State of Utah, as it has been minus 10, and then some nights still colder, cold-er, for over a month, and the valley here is plenty white. During the holidays the Dear-den Dear-den Brothers shipped cattle to market in California. The Deardon Brothers are gathering their cows off the desert now to ftart feeding, the result of the past ccii weathel . Mrs. Cecil Rowley and boys, also the other children who are going to school at Delta, were home over the week end. Jack Rowley spent the week J end at home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Rowley. I Tuesday night the Boy Scouts and their fathers had a basketball basket-ball game with the Scouts play-;nor play-;nor against their fathers. Re- ' freshments were served, and several Scout officers from Ely enjoyed the affair. Mr. and Mrs. Orval Joseph are the proud parents of a big boy. Willy Parker, who has been a patient in the Ely Hospital, has improved in health and is now at his home in Gandy. Ray Rowley has been snowed, in for the past week in Rail .oad Valley. The snow in that valley is three feet deep on the level, and the state snowplow was sent to "rescue" Mr. Rowley, Row-ley, who was snowed-in while hauling feed for sheep. |
