Show GALA CARNIVAL, BIRTHDAY BALL TO j CONCLUDE 1955 MARCH OF DIMES Saturday, Jan. 29, at 8 p. m.,4 doors of the Milford American Legion Hall will swing open for the carn:val to begin, to be followed at 10 o'clock by the ' ( traditional Polio Dance. This activity climaxes the numerous . fund-raising events held in Mil-ford Mil-ford this year for the March of Dimes. The final event consisting of i the carnival and Birthday Ball is under sponsor-lrp of the J American Legion. Juke Schow's i ; orchestra will provide the mu-i mu-i sic, and a brief floor show fea-' fea-' turing local talent will be presented pre-sented at intermission. Complete information on all the booths and attractions to be featured at the carnival was not available at press time, but the following have been definitely arranged: . ' ing gallery, or other games, I should make arrangements with Mrs. LaRue Varley, Mil- ford March of Dimes chair-- chair-- man. The committee is planning a special booth for the sale of handle) aft materials. Many Milford ladies excel in the making mak-ing of handicraft items. Any j of the ladies who wish to donate do-nate some of their handicraft to be sold at this booth are requested re-quested to do so. Mrs. Varley ( has announced that she will be at the Legion Hall from 7 p. in. on to receive items which ladies j may wish to contribute for sale at this booth. 1 There is no admission charge 1 fcr Jho carnival.
