Show W. Howard Curtis, formerly of Spanish Fork, is a new employee em-ployee at the Milford AT&T station. Mrs. Curtis is the former for-mer Lois Hughes of Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. W. G. White had as their dinner guests Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin of Los Angeles. Mr. Martin Mar-tin will return home Sunday, but Mrs. Martin will stay for a longer visit with her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Ferguson. Fergu-son. Upon her return, Betty Ferguson will accompany her for a vacation in California. W. G. White was called to Ottawa, Kansas, because of the death of his uncle, W. PS Dale. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bolton are now living with. Mr. Bolton's Bol-ton's parents. Mr. Bolton expects ex-pects to be called for military duty in the near future. Joyce and Jeanette Bietz are spending a month in Loveland, Colo., with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Bietz. Max G. Abbott is attending, the U S A C at Logan this summer, instead of Oregon State College, as he had originally planned. Mr. Abbott is reported to have accepted a position as principal of the Vernal High school for 1952-53. 1 Mr: and Mrs. Keith Bozarth and family have moved to Ad-amsville. Ad-amsville. Mr. and Mrs. Gus Easter have moved back to Beaver, after living in Milford for the past eight months. Shirley Tomsik is spending two weeks in South California with her brother-in-iaw and sister, sis-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Price. Fay L. Hilkman of Sun Valley l was in Milford visiting at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rogers. He also visited in Beaver with his brother and famiy, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hickman. Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Lef fin-well fin-well and baby will leave next week for Denver, Colo., where they will make yieir home. Mr. Leffingwell, an A T & T employee, em-ployee, has been transferred to Denver. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Morris are now living at the Roy Rogers apartment. Mr .and Mrs. Jerold McDer-mott McDer-mott are in Minnesota spending the summer. They will return this fall, and Mr. McDermott will resume his music instruction at Milford High. Mrs. Otto Schwab of Beaver has been in Milford visiting her husband, who is confined to the hospital. She is a house guest of her sisters, Mrs. William Morris and Mrs. Emma Walker. Mr. and Mrs. Max Gillins were in Cedar City on business last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. C, R, McCulley j of Iuka, Miss., have been visiting visit-ing at the home of Mr. McCul-1 McCul-1 ley's brother, Mr, and Mrs. A. F. I McCulley. While here, the I two families visited the Utah ) Parks and Navajo Lake, and j spent two days in Las Vegas, I where they visited a son and ! daughter of the A. F. McCulleys. ! Recent guests at the Paul Whiteside home were John E. Pace of Moab, father of Mrs. Whiteside, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pace and daughter Sandra, and Miss Sharon Johnson, a of i Salt Lake City. Week-end visitors at the Har- old Cline home were Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Cline of Salt Lake, i and David Van Petten of Los Angeles. j Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Gron-1 ning and Mr. and Mrs. Wally Fotheringham spent the weekend week-end in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Thomas and family are spending a one-month one-month vacation at Lena, Miss. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bower and family were in Salt Lake City this week. ! Maurice Root is working in Las Vegas at present, as a U P switchman. Fred Dalton of Beaver and Sandra Petty of Salt Lake City were guests of Susan and Sally Williams over the week-end. Fred returned to Beaver Monday, Mon-day, while Sandra is staying for a longer visit. I ! Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pryor and children of Logan were Monday I visitors at the home of Mr. Pryor's sister and family, Mr. ' and Mrs. Steve Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Turner j left Wednesday for Seattle, j Wash. Mr. Turner is a Milford delegate to the annual convention conven-tion of the Railroad Carmen of America. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Hegland and two children left for their : home in Los Angeles Wednesday after a two-week visit with Mrs. Hegland's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Bradfield. Mrs. Fay Bradfield in is Ely at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Brown. j Mr. and Mrs. William Coch-, Coch-, rane returned from a two-week I vacation in Southern California, accompanied by their daughter, Mrs. Robert Cheatham, and two children, Nancy and Helen Jean. Miss Alice Ahlstrom of Cedar City spent the week-end visiting visit-ing her grandparents, Mr. and I Mrs. Glen McKnight. Mr. and Mrs. John W. Smith spent a few days at the O. R. Smith home in Milford. John is working in the Union Pacific office here. Bealer has moved into the apartment of Douglas ! Peterson. E. Slinkerd were their friends from Pasadena, j Cal., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sheren. I Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Myers have been in Salt Lake, Wayne County and the National Parks . the past two weeks. I Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Hickman ! and daughter of Provo are visiting vis-iting in Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Barnes are building a new home north of I town near the Paul Whiteside place. |
