The -reception took place Feb 1st. Mrs. J. M. Hughes will leave Friday for Salt Lake City to attend at-tend Market Week. Mr. and Mrs. John Hanley returned re-turned from Salt Lake Friday with the 7-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hanley of Butte, Mont. The Han'eys ar2 caring for the baby for several months during the illness of Mrs. Charles Hanley. Mrs. Garth Banks and children chil-dren have return od from Cali-fornia'after Cali-fornia'after a week's visit with Mrs. Banks' relatives. Mrs. Betty Davis is in Sacramento, Sacra-mento, Cal., with her husband, Lt. Jack Davis, who expects to sail for Korea in the near futiue. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roberts of North Hollywood, Cal., were in Milford last week, visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bingham. The Roberts' also were guet.s of Mr. and Mrs. Hayward Car- I ter of Minersville, while attend- ' ing the funeral of Mr. CyiTS ' Bradfield. A daughter, Julia, was born to Dr. and Mrs. Herbert B. Fowler Fow-ler at Vernal, Utah, on Jan. 29. The little Miss weighed W2 lbs. 1 Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Merry-weather Merry-weather and daughter Linda left Tuesday for Salt Lake City to spend a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Don Holbrook and children will leave Friday for Salt Lake City, where they will spend a week. Mr. and Mrs. Howard W. Cook and daughter Betty of South Milford spent Saturday and Sunday with Mrs. Cook's parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch, and her sister and family, while visiting at the Koch home. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Davis have moved to San Diego, Cal. Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Variey moved into the home formerly occupied by the George Baker family, on U P Company Row. Mrs. Naomi Vollhard and daughter and Mrs. Lula Yither are in Salt Lake City on business. busi-ness. Mr. and Mrs. William Morris Mor-ris left last Saturday for California, Cali-fornia, to spend a month or six weeks visiting their children. Mrs. J. S. Hawkins and son Larry K of Salt Lake City, who had been visiting several days with Mrs. Hawkins' parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch, returned home Monday with her husband, who came down Saturday from Salt Lake. Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd Kohler were in Cedar City last Friday. |
