LAST WEEK Mrs. E. L. Smith entertained her bridge club and guests. A dessert course was served before the game of cards. Prizes were received by Mrs. J. H. Weston, Mrs. J. R. Mur-dock Mur-dock and Mrs. K. L. Archer. Others present included Mrs. V. L. Boucher, Mrs. F. A. Bingham, Bing-ham, Mrs. P. L. Smyth and Mrs M. B. Leffingwell. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Judy Wilcox. It was her seventh anniversary an-niversary on Monday, and a party was given in her honor Sunday. Judy is the- daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wilcox. Little friends attending the party were Sandra and Dian Wilcox, Linda Myers, Douglas and Beverly Hardy, Judy Rae Arnold, David Peterson, Mary Ann Banks, Carol Sullivan, Lorna Hollingshead, Co n n i e Falhart, and cousins Gail and Rodney Green of Beaver. Mrs. Wilcox entertained the children with various games, after which lovely gifts were opened by Judy. Ice cream, birthday cake and all-day suckers suck-ers were served as refreshments. A COSTUME HALLOWEEN party was given at the home of Mrs. Shirlene Barnes, with the following ladies attending: Mrs. LaDawne Frazier, Mrs. Ramona Smith, Mrs. LaRee Hollis, Mrs. LaRue Williams, Mrs. Beatrice Spainhower, Mrs. Mary Al-brecht, Al-brecht, Mrs. Barbara Jones, Mrs. Nona Gillins, Mrs. Beverly Bozarth, Mrs. Catherine Atkin, Mrs. Janiel Moore. Prizes at canasta were received re-ceived by Mrs. Gillins, Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Atkin. The house prize was awarded to Mrs Albrecht. The Halloween motif was carried car-ried out in the lovely luncheon served by Mrs. Barnes. A SURPRISE birthday party was given in honor of Mr. Lee Schiedeman and Dr. Eugene Davie on Saturday evening at the Davie residence. Dr. Davie's birth anniversary was on Oct. 26th, and Mr. Schiedeman's on Oct. 29th. Various games were played enthusiastically by the guests, including Pin the Tail on the Donkey, Spin the Bottle, and My Most Embarrassing Situation, Situa-tion, which was recorded and played back to the surprised gue,rts. Friends enjoying the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Max Carter, Mr. and Mrs. McCoy Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mayer, Mr. and Mrs. George Mayer, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Schiedeman, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Davie, Mrs. Farrell Lish, and Mrs. Don Holbrook. Hol-brook. Mrs. Davie nad Mrs. Schiedeman Schiede-man planned and gave the interesting inter-esting party for their husbands. BOBBY MERRYWEATHER celebrated his eighth birthday Tuesday, Oct. 30th, by inviting all his girl friends and pals to his party. Games were played and Bobby's sister, Zelda, fascinated fasci-nated them with stories. Many nice presents from his friends were accepted by Bobby. Cake and ice cream and a bag of treats were served to 30 boys and girls. THE LADIES' AUXILIARY to the Junior Old Timers held a Halloween party Monday night at the home of President Faye Berger. Beulah Wunderlich, , Wilma Weston, Alverta Good-, Good-, win composed the committee. ' The Halloween motif was carried out with decorations I and games, and fortune telling I by Madame Zomen, who turned out to be Loretta Cline. I Everyone wore Halloween costume, and a prize was given to Mildred Coon, who came as Popeye the Sailor, for the best costume. Other prizes were won by Barbara McGinn, Lola Banks, Maureen Miller and Mabel Westergard.
