At 8 o'clock the lodge convened con-vened in the large lodge hall, which was decorated with baskets bas-kets of flowers. Margaret Lyman Ly-man conducted the meeting. A ceremony in honor of Mrs. Norman Nor-man was given by local lodge members, and she was presented present-ed with a lovely gift. About 70 lodge members were present, including visitors from Mt. Pleasant, Beaver, Salt Lake City and California lodges. It was also the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Rebekah Lodges. Our visitors compliment us on our beautiful hall, on bur membership, and also on how well our work was done in the lodge. After the meeting, visiting visit-ing and dancing was enjoyed, making the occasion one of the happiest affairs of the season. i To make your shopping bag last longer, keep a piece of heavy cardboard in bottom of the bag. i |
