Show TO LEVY A TAX THEREFOR 1 ON THE PROPERTY BENEFITED BENE-FITED THEREBY, ALL- AS HEREINAFTER SPECIFIED, TO-WIT: 1. The nature of the improvement improve-ment to be made is to provide for lighting that portion of Main Street in Milford, Utah, between Second Avenue and Sixth Avenue Ave-nue m sad Milford, Utah, by means of a whiteway orna- i, mental street lighting system -owned by, and installed at the expense of, the contractor providing pro-viding electric energy for the operation thereof, and consisting consist-ing of 11 - 10,000 lumen series incandescent electric lights car- I ried on ornamental steel street lighting standards, and by making mak-ing provision for the patrolling, maintenance, and operation of such system and the supplying of electric energy thereto for a period of ten years, all substantially substan-tially as described in, and in accordance ac-cordance with, the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Recorder Record-er of Milford, Utah . 2. The district benefited by such improvement, which has been designated by said City Council as Lighting District No. 1, consists of all of the hereinafter herein-after described property abutting abutt-ing upon the above described portions of the streets to be improved im-proved by lighting the same as aforesaid, to-wit: All of Lits 1 to 4, inci., in : I NOTICE OF INTENTION ; WHITE WAY ORNAMENTAL LIGHTING SYSTEM NOTICE IS HEREBY. GIVEN THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MILFORD. UTAH, INTENDS TO IMPROVE IM-PROVE CERTAIN STREETS IN SAID MILFORD, UTAH, AND Blocks 7 and 8; and 10 and 12; All of Lots 1 to 3, incl., in Block 13; All of Lots 5 to 8, incl., in Blocks 6 and 9; and All of Lots 1 to 5, incl., in Block 11, all as shown on Plat "B", Amended Milford Townsite Survey on record in the office of the County Recorder of Beaver County, Utah. 3. The estimated cost of said improvement is limited to the cost of patrolling, maintaining, and operating said 11 lamps and of supplying electric energy thereto for a .period of ten years; and as determined by the , City Recorder of Milford, Utah, is the sum of Five Thousand Two Hundred Eighty Dollars, of which Four Thousand Five Hundred Forty Dollars and Eighty Cents ($4,540.80), will be raised by a special assessment as authorized by law on the property owners in said Lighting Light-ing District No. 1 whose property prop-erty is subject to such a levy, f.nd the balance amounting to Seven Hundred Thirty-nine Dollars Dol-lars and Twenty Cents ($739.20) will be paid by the City of Milford Mil-ford out of its general funds. The amount to be raised by special spe-cial assessment on the taxable property owners in said district is estimated at two cents ($0.02) per front foot per month, and the amount to be paid by the City is estimated at Six Dollars and Sixteen Cents ($6.16) per month. 4. All protests or objections to I the making of such improve-i improve-i ments or to the carrying out of j such intention of the said City I Council as herein set forth must be in writing, signed by the 1 owner of the property affected or to be benefited, and describing describ-ing the same, together with the number of front feet thereof abutting on the streets to be improved as aforesaid, and shall be filed with the City Recorder of Milford, Utah, on or before the 20th day of June, 1950 5. The City Council of the City of Milford, Utah, at its j f first regular meeting there- v after, to-wit, on the 21st day of June, 1950, will consider the proposed levy and the making of such improvement, and will hear and consider all protests and objections thereto as shall have. been made.
