Show ' UTAH CRAFTSMEN ARE INVITED TO ENTER SPRINGDALE EXHIBIT C Utah craftsmen who produce ornamental or useful articles in leather, art metal, jewelry, plastics, plas-tics, ceramics, wood carving, weaving, textiles or hook rugs, are invited to send three specimens speci-mens of their craftsmanship to be exhibited at the opening of the Mormon Craft Village, Springdale, Zion's Canyon, June 23-25. The invitation is extend- ed to Utah painters. This invitation was issued by Floyd V. Cornaby, president of the Federated Artists of Utah and head of the art department, USAC, Logan. No entry fee will be charged for entries of art or craftwork in the Spring-dale Spring-dale show by members of the organization. Non-members will be charged a $1 entry fee for paintings and craftsmen 50c. Date of the official Mormon Craft Village opening and Springdale Homecoming has been postponed one week, Mr. Cornaby said, in order to avoid a conflict with the L D S June conference. Entries should be sent to Julius V. Madsen, Mormon Mor-mon Craft Village, Springdale, before June 15. |
