Visitors over the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Denny were Mrs. Charles Clements of Caliente and Mrs. Clements' daughter, Mrs. Verda Moore of Boulder City, Nev. Mrs. Louisa Skinner of Magill is here with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Bi-adfield. Mrs. Bradfield and Mrs. Skinner spent two days this week in Panguitch, returning return-ing to Milford Thursday. Leaving Milford for Riverside, River-side, Calif., on June 10th, will be Mr. and M-s. Martin Ward ffonkel. Mr. Henkel has been employed as a comunicator at the Civil Aeronautics station in Milford for the past four years. He is being transferred to the California city. Mrs. Jack Brown and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Ruth Duggan, spent Memorial Day in Eureka, and brought Mrs. Brown's grand-1 daughter, Sharon Hawkins, to j Milford for a visit. They were chauffered to Eureka by Mr. Kuben Jones. Doris Gustavson and small 1 baby are "up north" with her I parents. Mrs. Grace Geist and two children will leave for Provo next week, to make their home. Mrs. Geist will enter the B Y U for post-graduate course. Mrs. Geist will be missed at ' the Milford Elementary school, where she has taught for the past four years. She has been a resident of Milford for eight years. Howard Call, former police chief of Brighara City, was a visitor in Milford Thursday. Mr. Call, who fears the "national "na-tional trend toward Socialism," will be a candidate for the Republican Re-publican nomination for U. S. Senator in the primaries in September. Bill Long, veteran Brigham City newspaperman, is campaign manager for Mr. Call. Miss Effie May Martin, daughter daugh-ter of Mrs. Harry Martin, will be graduated from James A. Garfield high school in Los Angeles, An-geles, at exercises to be held j Thursday, June 15th. Miss Martin is a former Milford ! High school student who com- |
