Show family, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Voorhees. Mrs. Bertha Schaidt will return re-turn to her home in Los Angeles Sunday. Mr. Charles Himslreet, a former for-mer Milford resident, died recently re-cently in South Gate, Calif., after aft-er a lingering illness. Mr. Him-street Him-street was a retired railroader. John David was born Sunday to Lt. and Mrs. James G. Char-cholis, Char-cholis, weighing in at the Milford Mil-ford Hospital at 7 lbs., 4 oz. Mrs. Dora Smithson returned Tuesday from Salt Lake, where she had been visiting during the illness of her mother, Mrs. Gustin. Way Down South in Kain-tucky Kain-tucky goes the family of Mariion Walker, leaving Thursday. They will join Mr. Walker's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest McDowell, and many friends. A side trip also is planned for Mr. and Mrs. Walker, who will journey jour-ney to New York to see his alma mater, University of Kentucky, Ken-tucky, play in the national basketball bas-ketball tournament in Madison Square Garden. Mrs. Frank Grimes spent last week with her sister, Mrs. Henry Edwards and family, in Stockton. Stock-ton. She also visited at the home of two nieces, in Tooele. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wright and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Foshdet. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon U'Ren have purchased, the M. W. Hen-kel Hen-kel home, in the south part of town. Mr. and Mrs. Henkel recently purchased the Vogt home, in the northwest section. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Grimshaw of Beaver were week-end visitors visit-ors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Grimshaw. Karl is an employe of the Telluride Power Co. and at present is working in Milford. Mrs. Earl Thompson returned Monday from Cedar City, where she spent a week with Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper. Mrs. Cooper underwent a major operation on February 22nd. Mr. and Mrs. Vance Fisher and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Tomsik spent the last week-end in Las Vegas. Mrs. Lloyd Kohler acted act-ed as assistant to Dr. Fowler while Luella was basking in the Nevada sunshine. Val Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson, has returned re-turned to his work in Tooele after spending five weeks with his parents in Milford, recuperating recuper-ating from an operation. 1 ....Word has been received that a daughter was born March 6th to Mrs. Sue King in Colton, Calif. Mrs. King is the widow of Lt. Keith King, who was drowned at Nea Bay, Washington, Washing-ton, last November. Mr. and Mrs. Don Holbrook drove their new Studebaker Commander to Delta Tuesday evening, where they attended the Milford-Hinckley game. Mr. and Mrs. William Ash-worth Ash-worth and two children, Cherie and Monty, and Mrs. Elizabeth Muir were week-end visitors in Provo. While there they were house guests of the Ashworth's son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Ashworth. Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Zabrisk'Ie had as their dinner guests Wednesday Wed-nesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Claude Horton and family, and Mrs. Theo Gillies and two sons. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Zabriskie were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hall and Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Carter of Minersville. Ben Hillmand and Dr Herbert E. Fowler made an air trip to. Garrison the early part of the week, to have lunch with the Deardens and help them select a site for an airport. Mrs. Theo Gillies and two sons of Cedar City are house guests of Mrs. Gillies' brother in-law, and sister- Mr. and Mrs. Claude Horton. Mr. and Mrs. Max Roberts of McGill, Nev., were week-end visitors at the home of Mrs. Roberts' parents, Mr. and Mrs. V. Waddoups.
