Show TIGERS LOSE TO HINCKLEY IN POST SEASON CONTEST According to the record books, the Milford Tigers lost their game with Hinckley last Tuesday, in a play-off to determine deter-mine the second-place team of the Millard division and place a team in, the regional playoff to be held this week-end. But the Milford fans who witnessed the game say "The best team didn't win." Coach Neal expressed the opinion that the Tigers were a smoother ball club than they've been all season, and he has nothing but praise for the boys, even tho they lost the game in the final few minutes. Getting off to an 8-1 lead in the first quarter, the Tigers held their opponents to 17-13 at half-time half-time and 27-23 at the end of the third period. The Hinckley squad seldom had the ball over the center stripe during the first half, and were outplayed all the way. The Tigers racked up 13 field goals for 23 points, compared to 9 for 18 points for Hinckley. Milford scored only 8 of 20 free throws, and Hinckley connected with 17 of 28, ,to wind up with a one-point victory .margin. Clyde Turner paced the Tigers Tig-ers with 10 points, and Kent had nine.
