Show Mr. and Mrs. Dern Osborn of Beaver were in town Thursday, visiting with Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Osborn. b Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Mills of Lynndyl were in town for the basketball game Wednesday. Word has been received from Mr. D. M. Burns, who is in Pasadena, Pas-adena, Calif., that he is feeling much better and hopes to be back in Milford soon. ' Mr. Burns was in the local hospital here for several weeks with a lung congestion. Mr. Jimmy Curry returned to Milford Sunday from Salt Lake. He underwent an operation and was in the L D S Hospital for several weeks. Mrs. I. Altman returned from Los Angeles, Sunday, after spending the past three weeks visiting her mother. Howard Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stewart, was home this week on a short furlough. fur-lough. Howard reinlisted in the army five weeks ago and has just completed his tfisic training at Fort Ord, Calif. He will also visit his sister, Mrs. Kelly Car-! Car-! son, in Salt Lake before returning return-ing to his camp. He expects to receive an overseas assignment. Word was received in Milford this week that Mr. Perry Easter, of Seymour, Ind., a brother of Mrs. O. C. Koch, passed away on Feb. 15th after a major operation. oper-ation.
