Show "LOOKING BACKWARD TEN YEARS AGO Misses Donna and Barbara Williams, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williams, have gone to Nephi to visit their grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. W. H. Bowles. Bob Murdock, Farrell Peterson, Peter-son, Foster Morris and Martin Corn left Tuesday evening in Bob's car for a vacation trip to Teno, San Francisco and South- rn California points. Mrs. LaMar Outzen and Mrs. J. C. Smith were hostesses to the Athletic Club Wednesday night, after a swimming party at the local pool, when the group went to the home of Mrs. Outzen and enjoyed the remainder of the evening in games. Mrs. E. E. Gray, instructor in Adult Sewing classes, will leave the last week in August for Institute In-stitute at the University of Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rickerson returned to Bloom Tuesday after a few days spent in Milford. Mr. and Mrs. William Wayne Stoker, with their son and daughter, daugh-ter, arrived in Milford by automobile auto-mobile Friday of last week, with a view to making their home in this vicinity. Mr. Stoker was raised to young manhood in Milford, later joined the navy, following which he served Uncle Sam for several years as a coast guardsman in Oregon. More recently, re-cently, he has been employed in the oil felds at Taft, Calif.' Milford has been given a real test of hot weather this past week, with 102 registered as the maximum on Wednesday for the hottest day of the year. One hundred and five club boys and girls, their parents, leaders and patrons, will assemble assem-ble at Big Flat for an overnight outing. Thursday and Friday, July 29 and 30, according to Mr. Golden L. Stoker, county agricultural agri-cultural agent. A representative committee of the 4-H Club leaders of the county, consisting of Mrs. Ethel Nielsen and Mrs. Alta Hickman of Milford, Frieda B. Wood of Minersville and Laura Smith of Beaver met with the county Agent on Monday of this week to make final arrangements for the outing. Each club will be responsible for food and transportation for its members and parents. These clubs will meet at Big Flat by 5 o'clock Thursday to make camp. , After the tents have been set up, the group will assemble for luncheon, which will be followed by a campfire program. The group will be taken on a nature hike Friday morning. The remainder of the day will be de- |
