Show SOUTH MILFORD By MRS. JOAN McKNIGHT j Mr. and Mrs. Gail Elmer and family a'nd Mr. and Mrs. Mitch Fisher and family motored to Leslie, Idaho, to visit with Mrs. Elmer's and Mrs. Fisher's family. After a short vacation Mr. Fisher will go on to Provo to summer school. Mrs. Naomi Baker entertained enter-tained the Young Homemakers Club at her home on Thursday of this week. A very interesting afternoon was spent learning how to operate a pressure cooker, cook-er, and learning how to can fruits, under the very competent instruction of Miss Betty Jeanne Stone. A lovely luncheon was served1 to all those present late in the afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Sherwood Sher-wood became the proud parents of a baby girl on Wednesday of last week. Mrs. Floyd Wright spent two days in Minersville assisting assist-ing her mother, who is ill. Mr. and Mrs. John Hansen drove to Richfield on business, and continued on to Gunnison to visit Mr. Hansen's father and sister, who were there from California. Cal-ifornia. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Hansen drove to California on business on Tuesday of this week. Miss Jeannette Gillins returned re-turned to Nevada with Mr. and Mrs. Willis Rogers, to spend a few days vacationing. The Social Hour Club is having their annual outing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Prine Howarth, on Thursday evening (July 17) at 6:30 p. m. Everybody is invited. The South Milford 4-H Sew-1 ing Club will meet at the home 1 of Mrs. Joan McKnight on Fri-1 day, July 18, at 2 p. m. |
