Show Famed tenor sings tonight Glade Peterson, nationally known Fairview, Utah, native, will sing two of the greatest tenor arias ever written as part of his concert in Kingsbury Hall tonight (April 10) at 8:15 p.m. The Utah born tenor has chosen "The Flower Song" from Bizet's "Carmen" and "Dcnno non Vidi Mai" from Puccini's "Manon Lescaut" as program highlights. Meanwhile, Gov. Calvin L. Rampton has officially proclaimed pro-claimed April 10 as "Glade Peterson Pe-terson Day" throughout Utah. The leading tenor of the Zurich Zur-ich Opera Company for the past six years, Mi. Peterson studied and performed at t,he University of Utah for several years. He has since sung with Maria Callas, Rosa Ponselle, Mary Costa and many other internationally recognized operatic oper-atic stars. Critics in Europe and the United States have praised his voice, his youthful good looks and his acting ability. abil-ity.
