Show Aureole Club told of lite of doctor The Aureole Club met at a no-hostess club meeting at the home of Fay Oldroyd. President May Miller presided and Lucille Johnson read the club collect. Business matters were discussed, discus-sed, including the day the club was to stay at the art building, Art Tea arrangements, and district dis-trict assigned the club to call for the art drive for memberships. member-ships. Lois C. Child gave an informal infor-mal talk about the life of the late Dr. Albert Schweitzer, his early life, education, etc., until the time he founded a medical mission and hospital in Africa. She had contacted the hospital, and read some interesting correspondence cor-respondence from members of the staff, and showed mementos memen-tos from Dr. Schweitzer. Refreshments were served to 14 members after the program. Among the many visitors at the Erwin Sheffields during the past weekend and to see John Sheffield prior to his leaving for the mission home Saturday, were family members, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pennock and family of Moses Lake, Washington; Wa-shington; Jim Sheffield of Denver, Colorado; Mr .and Mrs. Dennis Broun of Pocatello, Idaho. Ida-ho. Mr .and Mrs. D. Hugh Hea,th of Lewiston, Utah, were visitors visit-ors in Springville with relatives during the Easter weekend. They also spent some time in Mapleton visiting with friends. |
