The marriage was an event of August 23 in the Salt Lake Temple with Elder Le-grand Le-grand Young Snow performing the ceremony witnessed by immediate im-mediate family members. The newlyweds are making their home in this city. A lovely wedding reception was given Friday evening in Kolob Stake House by the parents par-ents of the bride to honor the newlyweds. For the occasion the bride was beautiful in a floor-length gown of white lace and organza with fitted bodice and full skirt and long tapered sleeves. Her veil was of bridal illusion with scalloped edge and pearl petaled crown. Her bridal bouquet bou-quet was of pink glamelias and white carnations with lily-of-the-valley. Attending the bride were Pauline Whiting, maid of honor; hon-or; Jane Snelson, J'Nette Snelson, Snel-son, Maureen Snelson, Mrs. Richard Smuin and Laura Lee Bean, bridesmaids. The attendants attend-ants were dressed in floor-length floor-length dotted voil in pink, orange or-ange and yellow with eyelet trim. Their flowers were giant white chrysanthemums tied with white ribbon. Best man to the groom was Glen L. Cox. Mother of the bride was attired at-tired in a long-sleeved fitted r LOVELY BKIDE Sirs. Greeting the many guests who called during the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Wheeler and Mrs. Bessie Black-ner; Black-ner; Mrs. Margaret Snelson, grandmothers of the bride. John Matheson acted as an usher. At the guest register were Mrs. Steven Taylor, Mrs. Glen Cox. Assisting in the gift room were Lavon Hansen, Barbara Bar-bara Haney, Jeanine Huff. In charge of the kitchen were Betty Davis, Lucille Weight, Florence Lovell and Juanita Mower. Members of the brides Sunday Sun-day School class assisted with the serving including Vickie Weight, Ruth Weight, Sheila Dansie, Sheryl Hansen, Sandra Frandsen, Cindy Christensen, Tiesha Strong, Camille Stans-field, Stans-field, Jared Weight, Craig Huff, Steven Hunt, Roger Rife, Eddie Hall and Keith Lovell. A beautiful four-tiered wedding wed-ding cake formed the center of attention in the south end of the hall and was centered in an enclosure of gold cord attached to small pillars with pink ribbon atop. The spotlighted spot-lighted cake was artistically decorated in pale yellow and pink with artificial flowers and topped by wedding bells. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Boyer spent the Labor Day weekend with their daughter, Karen, and family, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Don-ald Helm, of Vernal. |
