Show .... "- j V,V ! Sp.4 Richard A Hill, whose service to his country took his life, will be honored at Camp Williams ceremony. Posthumously Medals await parents for soldier's vaSor A posthumous Medal of Honor Hon-or will be presented to Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hill at Camp Williams Saturday, September 7 at 11 a.m. for their son, Specialist 4, Richard A. Hill who was killed in action in Vietnam, April 22, 1968. At the presentation Saturday will be Army officers and dignitaries dig-nitaries who will also present 10 different medals earned by Specialist Hill and which will be presented to his parents during the ceremonies. Richard entered the service January 4, 1967, and had been fighting in Vietnam 10 months when he was killed. He had attended the high school here and was active in FFA and twice won the Sears Roebuck Flock of Registered. Ewes Award while attendng school in Wyoming prior to moving to Springville. He participated par-ticipated in basketball, football, swimming and all outdoor sports. He had five brothers and one sister. J |
