Show ( ALL FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by Springville City for the construction con-struction of a club house for the Springville Hobble Creek Golf Course. On and after July 22, 1968 (for deposit of $50.00) bidders may obtain at the City Office in the Civic Center, 50 South Main Street, Springville, Utah, plans and specifications for bidding bid-ding this project, as prepared by Theodore R. Pope, A.I.A. Architect. Bids must be liled at the City Office at. the address aforesaid on or before 7:30 p.m. August 5, 1968. Said bids will be opened at a meeting of the Springville City Council on said date and time. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality techni-cality in any bid in the interest of the city. A bid bond in the amount of five percent of the bid, made payable to Springville City, shall accompany bid. If certified certi-fied or cashier's .check is used in lieu of bid bond, a certificate from an approved surety company com-pany guaranteeing execution of a fifty percent Performance Bond and fifty percent Payment Pay-ment Bond as required by Section Sec-tion 14-1-5, U.C.A. 1953, as amended, must accompany bid. All laborers, workmen, mechanics me-chanics and apprentices employed em-ployed in this project shall be naid not less than the general prevailing wage rates as set forth in the State Industrial Commission schedules, and all other applicable provisions of Chapter 12. Title 34, U.C.A. 1953, as amended, relating to employment on public works shall be complied with. Construction of this project will be paid for in part by Federal Fed-eral funds, and applicable nondiscrimination non-discrimination provisions required re-quired by Federal laws and regulations shall be complied with. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 15 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The fifty dollar deposit for plans and specifications will be refunded upon return of such drawings and specifications in good condition. VERL S. DALLIN, City Recorder.
