Show Former resident dies in Oregon-services Oregon-services in Orem Monroe Siler Singleton, 53, former resident of Springville and Provo, died Monday, June 24, 1968, in Longview, Washington, Wash-ington, of cancer. He was born December 16, 1914, in Springville, to John H. and Ruvinia Siler Singleton. He married Pauline Pierce May 2, 1933, in Springville. They were later divorced and he later married Ruth Riggs, who died in 1963. He was a heavy eqquipment operator. Mr. Singleton was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include two sons and three daughters, Monroe P. Singleton, Columbia City, Oregon; Mrs. Charles D. (Ro-setta) (Ro-setta) Anderson and Warren Singleton, both of Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Ralph (Pauline) Larsen, Orem, and Gaye Singleton, Salt Lake City; 10 grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters, Delmar Singleton, Mapleton; Francis Singleton, Portland, Ore.; Hugert Singleton and Mrs. Edward (Eudora) Anderson, Ander-son, both of Colorado; Mrs. Darrell (Roma) Norton, Wellington, Well-ington, and Mrs. Don (Evella) Sherwood, Salt Lake City. Graveside services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the Timpanogos Memorial Gardens in Orem. |
