Show Mr. and Mrs. Ted Ilaymond are home from a trip to Santa Ana, Calif., where they attended attend-ed the graduation of their granddaughter Ann, from high school. She is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Richard E. Hay-mond Hay-mond and plans to enroll at BYU in the fall. While the Haymonds were at Santa Ana, a daughter, Karen Dixon and little daughter Camille, flew up from Santa Rosa to spend a few days with them. Mrs. Margaret Campbell enjoyed en-joyed a visit from her son Chief Radarman Garn H. Campbell of the US Navy, his wife and four sons of San Diego, Calif., the past weekend. He has served ser-ved four and a half months in Vietnam' and will leave Saturday Satur-day on a new eight and a half . months assignment. He will be on a new ship, the USS Eldorado Eldo-rado AGC, a communications command ship for amphibious operations in Vietnam. Spec. 4C Dean Hill who came home from Korea, for the funeral fun-eral services of his brother Richard Allen Hill, who lost his life in action in Vietnam April 22, left Sunday for his new assignment as-signment in Germany. His wife expects to join him later. A brother-in-law Randy Hartman, who came from California for the funeral of his brother-in-law Richard Allen Hill, later enlisted in the army and left June 18, for Fort Bliss, Texas. His wife, the former Linda Hill, will join him later. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Peterson are enjoying a visit from their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ferris and two sons, Jim and Steve of Portland, Port-land, Oreg. They came for the MIA conference and will be here about three weeks. Mr. and Mrs. John D. Gill (Linda Pyper) and their daugh- I ter Vicki from San Jose, Calif., i spent ten days in Springville visiting with friends and rela- ! tives. They came especially for jl : the wedding of Susan Gill i and Eldon Hjorth. John re- ! turned to San Jose and his IS wife and daughter remained in j Springville for two weeks. The Gill's were house guests of the j Glen G. Pyper's and the Bert Gills.' Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Par-' Par-' ker of Tacoma, Wash., are vi- i siting in Springville with rela tives, Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey Parker and Mrs. Parker's mother, Mrs. Dorothy Wheeler and daughter Helen. They will be here until the middle of July. |
