Show Ififlaplelon lfew& Mrs. Irene Freeman was recently re-cently installed as secretary of the Medical Assistants of Utah County. The meeting was held in the Utah Valley dining room. Mrs. Alberta Banks was honored hon-ored on' Mothers Day with a visit from members of her family. fam-ily. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Loback and four children of Kearns, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Nielson of Orem; and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Leon-ard Banks of Spanish Fork spent the day at the family home. On Saturday, she received receiv-ed a phone call from Larry Millstead, a boy who made bis home with the Banks family for several years. He is stationed sta-tioned at Fort Lee in Virginia with the paratroopers. He recently re-cently made his first solo flight. Mr. and Mrs. Don Clark and family of Ogden visited Sunday with Mrs. Clark's mother, Mrs. Ethel Jensen. Officers and teachers of the Mapleton Third Ward Primary enjoyed a trip to Salt Lake last Thursday. They visited the Primary Children's Hospital and the Beehive House then went to lunch together. Those making ma-king the trip were: Christie Cherrington, Anna Dell Wheeler, Wheel-er, Erma Lee Bills, Norma Johnson, Colleen Spencer, Sharon Shar-on Bills, Wilma Barker, Dfclna Cazair, Nancy Dove, Eunice Poulson, G r e t h a Andreason, Cleo Molyneaux and the president pres-ident of the organization, Mrs. Ruth Hooper. It was decided at the luncheon that since this is the first group to work in the Third Ward Primary, that they would meet annually for a special social. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Fly-gare Fly-gare recently moved from Mapleton Ma-pleton to Salem. Their home was purchased by Clark and Cleo Molyneaux. The Moly-neaux's Moly-neaux's have been living in the Burt Whiting home. They have five children. Mr. and Mrs. John Roundy and daughter of Salt Lake City spent Sunday with Mrs. Roun-dy's Roun-dy's parents, Mr .and Mrs. Earl Freeman. Mr. and Mrs. Arland Clow-ard Clow-ard and daughter, Denise, have returned to their home in Phil-lipsburg, Phil-lipsburg, Montana, after spending spend-ing the weekend here. Their son, Ted Cloward, entered the mission home Monday. He will be going to the Gulf States. His sister, Mrs. Ilene Stevens and daughter of Redwood City, California, spent the weekend with the family anB another sister, Miss Julia Cloward of Provo visited with them also. Jaycee Wives entertained for thpir mnthprc: nt Tllint's CTnfp in Provo May 10. Fern Lee gave a toast to the mothers. Connie Carnesecca and Kathleen Kath-leen Hansen were co-chairmen for the party. |
