' ,v I i; ROYALTY for the Mill Creek WBBA League, including a queen and two attendants, were selected Saturday night. Mill Creek WBBA chooses queen, attendants at special program Mill Creek WBBA League held a program and crowning of the queen and attendants for this year. Joan Dean, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morrell Dean was named queen for having sold the most votes and raising the most money for her favorite teams. Kathy Evans, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Evans and Kathy Barker daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Ray Barker, were second and third place winners. There were over 40 girls participating. The queen and her attendants were presented with cash gifts and with gifts from several of the local businesses including Duke Jewelry, J. C. Penney, Sprouse Reitz, Allen's Super Save, Siesta Village, Hi Spot, Artistic Beauty Salon and Von-ie's Von-ie's Beauty Salon. Each participant par-ticipant received a free ticket to the Arch for May 20 and a ticket for a hamburger and a malt from the Polar King. |
