Show ' A i v I 1 ' I Gerald Ollerton, graduating from the University of Utah next month has made an outstanding out-standing record in his pharmaceutical phar-maceutical major study. U of U student wins awards; will graduate Gerald (Jerry) Ollerton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Ollerton Oller-ton of this city who will graduate grad-uate in June from the University Univer-sity of Utah, with a degree in pharmacy, has made an outstanding out-standing record while at the university. For the second consecutive con-secutive year, he has received first place award for his paper presented at the Students Convention Con-vention of the American Pharmaceutical Phar-maceutical Assn., in Salt Lake City. This year, his paper was entitled, en-titled, "A Miracle in Mexico?" dealing with treatment of rheumatism rheu-matism and was presented with slides and graphs and research material gained in working with doctors at the University of Utah College of Medicine and University Hospital. The award was made at a banquet in Salt Lake recently, when a Pharmaceutical Association Associ-ation also presented him an award designating him as the outstanding student in pharmacy pharma-cy doing research in 1967. Gerald is married to the former for-mer Christine Walton of Pay-son, Pay-son, a talented dancer and former for-mer student of the University of Utah and they have a daughter. |
