V'J 70riTcelventra, who 55 "Jerve her 85th birth- 85th birthday noted by Mrs. Celventra Mrs. Orissa Celventra will note her 85th birthday, Saturday, Satur-day, August 13, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Lois) Child. No special observance is planned at this time, pending the arrival of her other daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Stephen Fisher (Er-ma) (Er-ma) of Larchmont, N.Y., next month. However friends, neighbors and relatives will be welcome to call at the Child home from 2 until 6 p.m., Saturday. The youngest of 14 children born to early Springville settlers, set-tlers, Uriah E. and Sarah Mendenhall Curtis, Mrs. Celventra Cel-ventra has lived here most of her life. She was married to Frank Celventra in 1906 and they operated op-erated a confectionary store here years ago. He was police chief for a time and both were active in civic and political af- fau-s of the community. Mrs. Celventra attended school in the old Hungerford Academy in Springville. Besides her two daughters, she has four grandchildren and ; eight great grandchildren; also a sister, Mrs. Henry (Zina) Erlandsen of Salt Lake City. Mrs. LuDean Litster return- home Saturday from Cotton- wood Hospital, Midvale, where she has been confined since July 13, with injuries suffered . in an automobile accident. She expects to be confined to a wheel chair a few weeks longer. |
