Show Bow and arrow deer permits now being sold Bow and Arraw permits for the 1966 archery deer season, which begins August 27, are now on sale at various locations loca-tions throughout the State. Permits will be sold upon written or personal application at Department of Fish and Game offices in Salt Lake, Price, Ogden, Cedar City, Pro-vo Pro-vo and Vernal. Permits may also be obtained from some authorized license agents in various cities by personal application ap-plication only. All written applications must include the archer's name, address, ad-dress, big game license number num-ber and the ?5 fee. This year archery permits are considered in the same category cat-egory as control deer permits and restrict hunters to obtaining obtain-ing only one of these permits this year. As in the past, the archer may fill both his archery arch-ery permit and his regular deer tag, hut both must be taken with bow and arrow. Utah hunters who are under 21 years of age and are going into the field for the first time this fall are running out of time to complete their hunter safety class requirements prior to this year's hunting seasons. Utah law makes it mandatory manda-tory for all hunters under 21 to successfully complete a hunter safety training course before they are eligible to purchase a hunting license for birds or big game animals. The hunter safety course calls for a minimum mini-mum of 8 hours training before be-fore the certificate of completion com-pletion is issued. Juveniles over the age of 16 may also present a certificate showing they have successfully successful-ly passed the equivalent training train-ing in the Armed Services, ROTC, NRA, or show their hunting license from the previous pre-vious year. ' Don't delay as there are no alternatives to taking the required re-quired training and those who do not complete their training will have to wait to hunt for another year. Clothes hung outdoors after laundering should be brought inside as soon as they are dry. Continued exposure, especially in sunlight, can cause fabric deterioration. The sun causes fading of some colors. Some fade even when hung in the shade. |
