Show Senior Citizens schedule tour The Senior Citizens organization organi-zation of Springville is sponsoring sponsor-ing another in a series of summer sum-mer tours leaving August 1. This tour which is the 15th extended ex-tended trip taken by the group since Senior Citizens was organized or-ganized six years ago, will be to the Passion Play in the Black Hills of South Dakota at Spearfish, covering 12 days. They will go by way of Ev-anston, Ev-anston, Green River and Rock Springs, Colo., to Deadwood, S. D. Enroute back the trip will be highlighted by a stop at the famous Mt. Rushmore national memorial, the statue of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln Lin-coln and Roosevelt carved in solid granite. From Cheyenne, Wyo., they travel to Denver to visit the Elitch Gardens and other attractions; at-tractions; then to Durango, Colorado Springs, seeing the Air Force Academy, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and other areas. They will see the Navajo Trails Fiesta and rodeo at Durango. They will also take a ride on the famous narrow gauge railroad through spec- tacular scenery of the Colorado Rockies to the old mining town of Silverton over the million-dollar million-dollar highway and to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, returning home by way of Grand Junction, Green River and Price. The tour is a cooperative non-profit undertaking limited to members of the Senior Citizens Cit-izens organization. Generally the group includes individuals from 60 to -85 years.
