Show A. E. Jacobsen to read the collect. Mrs. C. A. Smith, nomination nomina-tion chairman, read the list of candidates for officers and they were elected by acclamation as follows: Mrs. W. L. Schreiner, president; Mrs. Julia Sumsion, program chairman; Mrs. Blackwell, vice president and Mrs. Brent Packard, secretary. Tickets for the art banquet April 29, were distributed and the next meeting to be in the form of a guet day, Friday, May 10, will be held at Barts, it was announced. Club hears story, elects officers Mrs. Belva Edwards gave a delightful story, "The Ladies of Dulham," taken from the White Heron, a collection of stories by Sarah Jewett, at the Ladies Literary Club meeting Thursday evening of last week. Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson was hostess at her home in Provo and served a nicely arranged tray luncheon at the beginning of the program. Assisting the hostess were her daughters, Mrs. . Robert Blackwell, Mrs. Larry Nau and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. David Anderson. The meeting was in charge of the club president, Mrs. J. Y. Bearnson, who asked Mrs. |
