Show of Provo was a special guest and Harrison Conover and Wil-by Wil-by Metcalf also enjoyed the talk. During a short business period, per-iod, tickets to the art ban quet, April 29, were distributed and the next meeting Friday, April 29, beginning with a 1 o'clock lunch, was announced to be at the home of Mrs. Len-ard Len-ard Harward. Club ladies enjoy Edgar Lee Teg art Wayne Decker of Salt Lake City gave interesting information informa-tion on the life and works o" the artist Edgar Lee Teg, at the meeting of the Home Culture Cul-ture Club Friday afternoon of last week. The meeting was held at Oak Crest with Mrs. Clay Beesley as hostess. Recognized as a master of the technique of painting on black velvet, the artist, a native na-tive of St. Louis, Mo., did much of his painting in Tahiti and it was here that Mr. Decker became be-came acquainted with him and procured a number of his paintings. His works are valued valu-ed from $5,000 to $50,000 today. to-day. Mr. Decker brought approximately ap-proximately 20 to Springville to be viewed by the club ladies la-dies who enjoyed the beautiful paintings and the unique tech-! nique used in producing them.
