Show VFV head wins national post Appointment of Daniel B. Alleman, Commander of VFW Post 5787 in Springville as National Na-tional Aide-de-Camp, Recruiting Recruit-ing Class, VF'W, is announced by Andy Borg, Superior, Wisconsin, Wis-consin, Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Under Commander Alleman's leadership, leader-ship, the membership of VFW Post 5787 has been raised to a new high of 104 men. In announcing the appointment, appoint-ment, Commande r-in-Chief Borg said: "Mr. Alleman has an outstanding record of service serv-ice in the VFW and I am happy hap-py to appoint him to serve on my staff. Only through continuing con-tinuing membership increase in the ranks of the VFW can we carry out our many service projects at the community, state and national levels. It is through the efforts of men such as Commander Alleman that the VFW has become a strong effective organization it is today." In hospital L. LaMar Weight, 594 Canyon Can-yon Dr., is confined to Utah Valley Hospital as result of a heart attack suffered on the job Tuesday of this week. His condition is reported improved.. |
