Show Interesting stories reviewed at club meet Members of the Ladies Literary Liter-ary Club spent a delightful evening Thursday at the home of Mrs. Claude A. Smith, where Mrs. Blanch Beal gave the program. She reviewed two stories, "The Cracked Looking Glass," by Catherine Ann Porter, Por-ter, and "The Next Voice You Hear," by George Albe. Mrs. John Y. Bearnson, president, pres-ident, was in charge of the meeting which began with a nicely arranged luncheon served serv-ed by the hostess. Mrs. Berton Sroesbeck read the club col-ect. col-ect. Announcement was made of :he district convention at Fillmore, Fill-more, April 16, and of the Art Banquet, April 29. The Ladies Literary Club with the Cultural iVrts is to do the decorating ind Mrs. Oliver Daltbn was ap- pointed chairman from the club. Seventeen club members and Mrs. Waldo Jackson, a guest, attended the meeting. The next meeting is to be April 14, at the home of Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson in Provo. |
