Show Summer school registration planned April 15 Final registration for elementary ele-mentary summer school classes for grades 1 to 6 will be held Friday, April 15, at Brookside School. Because of limited funds, only on-ly those students, in whose behalf , preliminary registration was completed, will be eligible to register at this time. Those eligible to register will need to present a stamped preliminary prelim-inary registration at the school for identification. Data available from the preliminary pre-liminary survey of interest made, several weeks ago, indicate indi-cate an enrollment potential too heavy for available facilities. facili-ties. Rather than overload classes and handicap an effective effec-tive summer program, it will be necessary to close out registration reg-istration when available classes are filled. Names of students unable to register will be placed pla-ced on a waiting list pending possible cancellations. They will be called by telephone and offered a second opportunity to enter the summer program: Fees of $5.00 for three or more classes, or $2.00 for classes clas-ses taken separately wDl be payable at the time of registration. regis-tration. Because of such a heavy demand for classes, only three-hour registration programs pro-grams will be available unless special permission is granted by the principal. Instrumental music and speech-hearing therapy ther-apy students will be permitted to register for such classes separately or as a part of the half-day program. |
