On Friday, February 4 and Saturday, February 5, at 7:30 p.m., the Brigham Young University Cougar Hockey Club will meet Colorado College Col-lege from Colorado Springs at the Winter Garden Sports Arena Ar-ena in Provo, Utah. Colorado will be at their best after games with Denver, Air Force Academy and several sev-eral out of state opponents. The Cougars play a limited home game schedule this year and fans interested in hockey should plan to attend this two game series. The 1966 Cisco spawning run at Bear Lake got off to a good start and fair weather allowed dip netters an excellent opportunity oppor-tunity to harvest fish. The first fish appeared on January 15 and the run was completed on January 23. Department of Fish and Game officers checked 5,289 anglers during the special season sea-son with 188,879 fish being taken. This special season has proven to be more popular each year since the first anglers ang-lers began taking fish with dip nets. In addition to the special Cisco season, Bear Lake is one of the many waters open to year round angling, and all kinds of fish may be taken in accordance with the annual fishing proclamation. |
