Show Kfgh-Sevel snow packs look good ably mean a reduction in amount of early spring runoff normally produced and that later water from higher elevations eleva-tions would be somewhere near average H o wever, February and March are usually good months for precipitation and what happens during this period per-iod could change the outlook materially either up or down. The snow pack on the high country, looks good, at lower elevation, not so good. This was the report from Soil Conservation Con-servation Service Snow Surveyor, Sur-veyor, Stanley Peterson, after completing checks of snow courses for Feb. 1, 1966. In general snow courses in Utah County above 8,000 feet elevation show near avarage water content for this time of year. The snow pack between 6,000 and 8,000 feet varies from 50 to 75 percent of average. aver-age. Below 6,000 feet it is from 15 to 50 percent of average.
