Show FHA represented at convention Representing the Springville Chapter of FHA at the recent convention in Orem, were Mau- rine Andreson, president; Colleen Col-leen Fullmer, secretary; Karen Kar-en Reed, party chairman; Susan Su-san Newton, reporter; Mrs. Mathis, Mrs. Bartholomew and Mrs. Killpack, advisors; also Susan Gonzales, Kathleen Newman, New-man, Linda Diamond, Patsy Barker, Julie Castleton and Ann Bartholomew, members. Talks, skits and films showed show-ed the need for FHA in the i home, community and country, and demonstrations on how to keep physically fit were given at the meet. Debbie Phillips gave the welcome. There was also a film on Russia and the 1 people of the country. : The convent ion concluded , with talks on citizenship values, val-ues, actions in the home and individuality and presentation 1 of a red rose to each advisor j from the rose bouquet. . ' Members of the Home Culture Cul-ture Club will meet with Mrs. . Clair Judd Friday, Oct. 8, at 3 p.m. Prof. Ernest Reimschiis- 2 sel of BYU will speak on "Shades of Beauty." |
