Show Youth injured in accident with .22 rifle Richard Crandall, 15, son of Leo and Lillian Crandall, who suffered an accidental gunshot wound Sunday evening, at his home, "is holding his own," at Utah Valley Hospital, according accord-ing to a report from the fam- ily Wednesday. He is being watched carefully for infection. He had been chukar hunting and as he removed the gun, a .22 caliber automatic rifle from his bed in a room up-stairs, the gun went off striking him in the stomach. He did not realize it was loaded.
